Key Responsibilities
Clinical Strategy & Market Development
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute clinical sales and marketing strategies for our respiratory portfolio (Ventilators, Oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP) aligned with rapid geographic scaling.
- Value Proposition: Translate clinical evidence, patient outcomes, and physician insights into clear messaging for hospital decision-makers and referral sources.
- Market Positioning: Identify barriers to physician adoption and develop clinical initiatives that support product utilization and procedural growth.
Relationship Management & Education
- Referral Growth: Build deep relationships with hospitals, home health agencies, and physician groups.
- Clinical In-Services: Lead high-level clinical presentations and educational workshops for healthcare professionals regarding advanced respiratory therapies.
- Physician Engagement: Serve as the primary clinical point of contact for key opinion leaders (KOLs) and high-volume referral sources.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Compliance Alignment: Collaborate with the RCM and Compliance teams to ensure all marketing materials adhere to Medicare, Medi-Cal, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Product Launches: Lead clinical marketing components for new product rollouts, ensuring differentiation is clearly communicated to the market.
Qualifications
- Clinical Credential: Must hold an active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in working as a respiratory therapist with patients; minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare marketing or sales, specifically within home respiratory, Home Medical Equipment (HME) or post-acute care.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of respiratory equipment (Ventilators, Vests, Oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP) and the associated disease states (COPD, ALS, etc.).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Medicare/Medi-Cal reimbursement rules and DMEPOS quality standards.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to simplify complex clinical data for various audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced clinical degree preferred.
- Language: Fluency in English required; fluency in Spanish desired
